    Thanks for the Jayhawks tracks!

I downloaded some tracks from the Tweedy solo show that are in shn format and I’m having trouble burning them to a CD using Winamp. I have any trouble doing this with the FLAC recordings on this site. When I bring the files up to burn, Winamp has all the tracks scheduled for burning but then stalls out and never really burns the tracks. Any answers?

typo in my post: Should read– I haven’t had any trouble burning FLAC files…

I don’t use WinAmp, so I can’t really help, but maybe someone else can. I do, however, always convert the files before burning them. Maybe that will help?

    Pres. Truman,

Don’t know what else to do. I’m not a techie. I guess I will just have to be content with burning FLAC tracks on to CDs. Oh well, my life could be much harder.

    GOD I LOVE THIS WEBSITE!!

I’m no techie, so what I do is, use db Power converter, convert shn files to wav, then they should play or burn using WinAmp
Hope this may be of some help

“General Murry MacArthur?” that doesn’t sound right. Is that like John “Herbie” Hancock?

    Mr. President,

    No.

    Fulhamx,

I have no idea what the hell a db Power converter is. Is it similar to a flux capacitor? I have no problem getting the songs to play, however, when I try to burn them to a CD using Winamp, Winamp just stalls out on the burn. Thanks for the advice though.

    Try this:

    http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm

You should be able to convert the SHNs and then burn them.

Google is a wonderful thing! ;)
