Every Wilco fan needs to get this show. Now. It’s the best one I have, and I had a crappy MP3 encoding of it. I can’t wait to revel in this lossless glory.
As for the few band members missing from the mix, this was before they picked up Pat and Nels, and before Leroy left, so I think that the five members are indeed in the mix, but I could be wrong. If you’re referring to the absence of the synth in “Spiders (Kidsmoke)”, I thought that was the original arrangement.
Even if I’m wrong, this is a glorious show. Thanks a lot!
I got this in a mail trade back in 2003. It was one of the few soundboards that came out around that time. I remember someone mentioning that one of the band members was absent from the mix, and I’m reasonably sure that it is Leroy’s keys.
If anyone figures it out, feel free to post back here.
well, it’s two in the morning
and I’d never give a shit about things like
“omg, look at that list, what a set…”
until tonight.
and I can’t wait to finish the loadings and hear that set.
it looks great and with .at least that’s what you said. on it
it couldn’t be better, between no 15 and no 23 I’ll lose my mind…
thanks mister truman (the world will love you for this post)
It’s A New World Record
WiLCO on my carpet, my sideboard, my windowsill
…between wallpaper and plaster
Thanks for the upload, I love Wilco soundboards. Would you happen to know how many post 1999 soundboards exist?
As always, many thanks for more Wilco, Can never get enough
Excellent… thank you
I listened to this in the car very loudly today when driving to and from Cincinnati (go Cubs!!!), and I believe that what is not mic-ed is John’s bass. Listen to “At Least That’s What You Said”, and you can hear two different keyboards playing when the rest of the band comes in (a light organ-sounding instrument in the background and the extremely loud pounding piano), and listen to the beginning of “Handshake Drugs” to hear that John never comes in.
Yeah, it’s weird, but it’s still my favorite Wilco recording (sorry, John).
