Wilco to Play Colbert Tonight!!

Last night’s Colbert Report featured the indomitable Stephen Colbert announcing, like many influential conservative figures, his coveted endorsement for Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.

Despite this, Colbert won’t be voting for Obama. He’s a conservative, for Chrissake.

Of course his vote’s going to McCain, whom Colbert believes should also endorse Obama.

Tonight’s Colbert Report gives Wilco the ol’ Colbert bump as they do an in-studio performance. We’re speculating that they, too, will make it clear once and for all whom they are endorsing. Let’s be honest; they haven’t been exactly straight with us. Our guess is that, like Colbert, they’re endorsing Obama and voting for McCain. Whatever happens, the Wilcolbert combo should be pretty excellent.
