For immediate release:
After offering to help reshape the face of journalism in this new age—and being subsequently turned down by principled news outlets everywhere, and even Fox News (for now)—Alaska’s governor and former GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin (remember her?) has agreed to write for Owl&Bear.
In her acceptance, Sarah said:
it’s great to be in kantack with you harry. its an honor to hear from someone of your stature. as you know i’m heading back to ak and as you know, it gets quite snowy and. i plan to have some free time to help my family return things to macys stores and also do some writing of my own
i have some ideas to make sure things arent reported base on gossip and inuendo and such. we should limit peoples’ ability to make such statements by limiting their use of words in general that can make gosip and innuendo and can take things out of context. by eliminating the use of words, we can garantee that we eradicate gossip and innuendo and contexts that have been taken out.
In a short time, we’ll be removing the Sarah Palin tag from our archive. Rest assured, the posts will still exist, but due to the critical nature of the articles and her gracious agreement to work for us, we felt it was inappropriate to display them so prominently on Owl&Bear.
A similar offer was extended to Arizona Senator John McCain—Palin’s former running mate—with the big sell being that he could still partner with Sarah even now that the election is over. We have yet to hear from him and will let you know shortly about the future of the “John McCain” tag on our site.
Congratulations, Sarah!
