We love you, we really do, but we also get a lot of mail. Because of this, we can’t guarantee that your correspondence will see the light of day, but here are some tips:

• If you’re from San Diego or a nearby city—or if you’re playing in San Diego—please make it obvious in your correspondence. We want to hear from you.
• We absolutely encourage unsolicited emails, but please attach or link to MP3s.
• Press releases without MP3s are given lower priority, but usually at least get skimmed.
• We generally don’t review unsolicited CDs. Save on postage and materials, and save us the painful process of opening and ripping a CD. MP3s get heard right away; CDs tend to sit around, unopened. It’s not intentional; email is just more practical.
• If you must mail something to us, email us first. Be prepared to receive a response like the one above.
• Ask about running a contest.
• If you have an existing relationship with us, please continue to do what you’ve been doing.
