Brighton, England’s biggest band came to the House of Blues on February 29. Over the course of the evening, The Kooks — led by Luke Pritchard — played an energetic set of their best known songs, including “She Moves in Her Own Way,” “Ooh, La,” “Seaside,” and “See the Sun.”

Throughout the show, Pritchard danced and pranced on a catwalk; at one point, he asked the crowd, “Are you doing all right? Come on! Are you doing all right?” The mostly teenage audience’s high-pitched squealing could be heard from blocks away. Chicago psych quartet Yawn opened.
